The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre develops awareness, enjoyment and understanding of the environment and wildlife.  It is a not-for-profit centre that is open all year round.

You can canoe through the marsh or just take a walk in the woods. There are many short trails for the novice “stroller” or longer trails for the more hardy “hikers”.  If you prefer, you can take a guided walk with one of our Outdoor Educators, who can discuss many points of interest. They also offer snowshoeing and 25KM of cross country ski trails (groomed and track-set) for all skill levels throughout the winter months.

Have we got a secret spot to tell you about. Before we begin, you must understand that this location, although public, is surrounded by private property and smack dab in the middle of a residential community. Every effort should be taken to ensure that you do not impact or inconvenience the residents in this area because failure to do so could cause the removal this great hiking and scenic day trip.
