The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is located in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. This Canadian maritime museum is the oldest and largest maritime museum in Canada. 

Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History

The Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History highlights the history of our planet, from ice age mammals to present day humans. At the museum, live displays are offered to visitors that vary with the current season. These displays could include plants, insects, bats, fish, mice, snakes, and turtles.

Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia

The Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia is located just outisde of Dartmouth on a three acre lot. Opened in 1983, the centre quickly became the venue to many events, concerts, plays, lectures and workshops. Today, the centre comprises of a reference library, museum, auditorium, gift shop, and RCMP community office.

Fisherman's Life Museum

The Fisherman's Life Museum rests on Nova Scotia's eastern shore in a historic house once occupied by the Myers family. The building is an accurate reflection of an early 1900s coastal village family home.
