As northwestern Ontario's largest public art gallery, the Thunder Bay Art Gallery offers visitors a fantastic collection of art and sculpture from Canadian artists. Founded in 1976, the gallery is centrally located at the campus of Confederation College.

The Temiskaming Art Gallery was formed in 1980 as a public, not-for-profit exhibition space to showcase the local art club, the Temiskaming Palette and Brush Club. This gallery has been called “The Tiny Perfect Gallery” by one of its founders.
