Hamilton Textile District

The Hamilton Textile District located on Ottawa Street is the largest fabric and textile district in Canada and also Hamilton's top tourist destination. Every year, the district is transformed when it hosts the annual Ottawa Street Streetfest which offers incredible shopping deals, foods, crafts and entertainment.

Storybook Gardens

Storybook Gardens located in Springbank Park offers something for the whole family, with rides, entertainment, games, animals, play areas, Slippery's splash area, face painting and beautiful gardens. The village supports a variety of seasonal activities including a splash pad in the summer and a skating trail in the winter.
           

Joseph Schneider Haus Museum

The Joseph Schneider Haus Museum and Gallery is a historic farmhouse built by one of the area's first pioneers, Joseph Schneider. Located in downtown Kitchener, this local landmark built in 1816 is Kitchener's oldest dwelling. Today the farmhouse has been fully restored and furnished to period to serve as a living history museum. Since the 1850's, a lot has since changed.

Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery

The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery is home to many exhibits and collections. Some of the more popular permanent collections include works from Charlotte Brainerd, Joseph Drapell, Tony Urquhart, Ken Danby, Peter Goetz, Arthur Lismer, Daphne Odjig, George Eitel, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Shelley Niro, and many more.
