The Province House is Canada’s second-oldest seat of government, the birthplace of Confederation and is where the Price Edward Island Legislature, known as the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, has met since 1847.

Founders Hall

Founders Hall is Canada’s Birthplace Pavilion, a bilingual heritage attraction telling the story of Canada from it’s inception in 1864 up until modern day.  Visit this heritage attraction and you will be transported back to 1864 to relive Canada’s history through multimedia presentations and art displays.  Visitors can join in on a historic walking tour with a costum

Beaconsfield Historic House

The Beaconsfield Historic House was built in 1877 for James Peake, Jr., a wealthy shipbuilder and merchant.  This elegant home has twenty-five rooms, eight fireplaces and imported chandeliers.  Beaconsfield was a visible expression of Peake’s Victorian elegance.

Ardgowan

Ardgowan National Historic Site of Canada is located in Parkdale, Price Edward Island. This site was once the home of William Henry Pope, one of the Fathers of Confederation from Price Edward Island.
