Discovered by Jacques Cartier in 1535, L’Isle-aux-Coudres is a paradise on earth and a premiere destination for tourists in the region. The island offers a variety of activities including cycling, hiking, beaches, playgrounds, cruising, and summer theater. Renowned for it's breathtaking landscapes, Isle-aux-Coudres can be explored by cycle, car, or by foot.

The House of our Forefathers

The House of our Forefathers is located on Île d'Orléans and showcases the history of the island's families and the French culture. The House of our Forefathers exhibits many artifacts including old photographs, artwork, agricultural and industrial tools, and a herbarium of local plants.

Île d'Orléans is recognized as being the single most important district in Quebec due to it's fertile soil and rich architectural treasures. Located just 5km down river from Quebec City, Île d'Orléans is home to over 7,000 people who to this day, retain the island's traditional rural way of life.

The Drouin House

The Drouin House (Maison Drouin) was constructed during the French regime in the 1730's and to this day, the house has never been modernised. During it's history, The Drouin House has been inhabited from 1730s until 1984 by three different families over three centuries: The Baucher, Canac, and Drouin families.
