24 Sussex Drive

24 Sussex Drive is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Canada. Built between 1866 and 1868 in Ottawa, Ontario, the building has been the home to almost every Canadian Prime Minister since Louis St. Laurent. 24 Sussex Drive is set on almost 4 acres along the banks of the Ottawa River and the three storey limestone home features 34 rooms.
Although access to 24 Sussex Drive is strictly prohibited to the general public (as you can imagine being the home of Canada's leader), the building is worthy of a quick view and admiration from a respectful distance.
