The Art Gallery of Alberta is home to a collection of over 7,000 permanent artworks that are valued at over $33 million. Currently housed in a temporary location at Enterprise Square, the gallery still remains open to the public  seven days a week. A new building which is currently under construction will open in early 2010 in the heart of Edmonton's Art District and span almost 30,000 sq/ft.

For those on a budget, the Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) is currently offering a "Pay what you may" admission program on Thursdays between 4PM and 8PM.
