The evolution of art is rarely one of isolation - the progression of aesthetic values from Classical times to the Renaissance to contemporary art is one of influence, shaped by visions of the world, technological advances, and the explorations of other artists. Shannon Parker, Curator of Collections, will employ the exhibited international works to discuss key world art developments and how they connect to the Atlantic Canadian portion of art history.
