BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum

The British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is a non-profit organization, that was founded in 1966 by the late Eric Whitehead and a group of sports minded individuals. The museum honors and shows tribute to British Columbia’s outstanding athletes, teams, builders and pioneers of sport.
The British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum educates and entertains through its programs and collections by telling the stories of outstanding achievements in sport. Explore over 20,000 square feet of history galleries featuring Olympic gold medals, original jerseys, equipment, and other artifacts. Visitors can visit the world’s only permanent galleries devoted to Canadian heroes Terry Fox and Rick Hansen. You can play in the large Participation Gallery which includes a rock climbing wall, running track, and a virtual sports simulator.
