Benares Historic House

Benares Historic House reflects more than 160 years of history and has been fully restored with original furnishings to reflect the lives of the Harris family in 1918. The house was built in 1857 and would become the home to four generations of the Harris and Sayers families. Visitors to Benares Historic House will have the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the early 20th century estate including a permanent gallery and many seasonal exhibits and events. The Benares Historic House is managed by the City of Mississauga.
