BIG Little Science Centre
The BIG Little Science Centre is located in Kamloops, BC and was stared in February 2000 by Gordon R. Gore, a retired science teacher who has dedicated his life to teaching science in an interactive environment. The BIG Little Centre allows children, their families and our teachers to explore and experience science in an entertaining environment.
The BIG Little Science Centre has two hands-on rooms that allow visitors to experiment on their own 125 stations of hands-on-activities to try. Saturdays the Centre has an activity or show running at 1:30PM.
Visitors can visit the two teaching/demonstration rooms, where they will enjoy a 30-minute presentation on one of several topics. The BIG Little Science Centre offers guest’s science shows for all ages which includes shows such as, Light and Colour, Magnetism, Air Pressure, Static Electricity, Waves and Sound, Physical and Chemical Changes, Weather, Forces and Motion, and Simple Machines.
