Birch Cove Beach

A local favorite for swimmers and paddlers alike, Birch Cove Beach is located on Lake Banook in Dartmouth. Lake Banook is a small freshwater lake often referred to as "First Lake" and is home to a 1km long flatwater paddling course. Birch Cove Beach is one of two beaches currently available on Lake Banook - the other is Lions Beach. Currently Birch Cove is the only one with available lifeguard supervision.
