Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia
The Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia is located just outisde of Dartmouth on a three acre lot. Opened in 1983, the centre quickly became the venue to many events, concerts, plays, lectures and workshops. Today, the centre comprises of a reference library, museum, auditorium, gift shop, and RCMP community office.
Visitors to the Black Cultural Centre can enjoy either a guided tour or explore the grounds on their own. Visitors will walk away with a deeper understanding about African-Canadian Heritage in the province of Nova Scotia.
