Bow Falls Trail
The Bow Falls Trail is located in Banff National Park and has been featured in many classic Hollywood films. In fact, during the 1950s, Marilyn Monroe was swept over Bow Falls in a movie. Visitors are permitted to stroll along the walkway of the Bow Falls Trail directly above the falls. During the summer months, stairs and railings will let you get a great safe look at the rapids and pounding cascade of Bow Falls. The clifftop section is closed during the winter.
The trail offers separate sections for pedestrians and cyclists and the trail connects to the Cave and Basin Trail, Upper Hot Springs Trail, and the Spray River Loop.
