Boyd Heritage Museum
The Boyd Heritage Museum is located in the Boyd Building (circa 1889) opposite Lock 32 - the first lock built on the Trent Waterway. The museum exhibits and interprets artifacts and records related to the activities of Canadian lumber baron Mossom Boyd, his family and their business interests in the Village of Bobcaygeon, the Kawartha Lakes Region, across Canada and internationally. Artifacts and records documenting the family and their interests in lumbering, steamships, agriculture and railways are displayed in two galleries. The museum also has the Boyd Gallery, where local artists can display and sell their works.
