Bronte Creek Provincial Park

Located between Burlington and Oakville, Bronte Creek Provincial Park has something for all seasons. During the summer, visitors can camp overnight and swim in one of the largest man-made swimming pools in North America. Anglers will be interested to note that Bronte Creek has substantial seasonal populations of coho and Chinook salmon and rainbow and brook trout along with some small mouth bass as well. Cyclists and hikers can travel over 10 km of roads and trails available within the park. There are two leash free pet exercise areas as well as 1000's of picnic tables throughout the park. Bronte Creek is also home to numerous species of mammals, birds, reptiles and insects which can be seen throughout the park. For history enthusiasts, the park offers living history demonstrations in 1890s farmhouse. Visitors are also encouraged to drop by the play barn to pet the animals or take children to the outdoor playground. In the winter, visitors can ice skate on a lit skating rink, toboggan on a great tobogganing hill and use the park's trails for cross-country skiing. Please note that the day-use and camping facilities have separate entrances.
