The Canada Aviation Museum located in Ottawa, Ontario allows visitors to get up-close and personal with the history of flight and aircraft in Canada. The exhibits are arranged in such a way that visitors progress along a "Walkway of Time" that starts with early attempts at flight and ends with the most advanced aircraft to take to the skies.
The Canada Aviation Museum is home to over 120 aircraft and countless aviation-related artifacts including propellers, uniforms, instruments, and even aviation related artwork. The collection reflects the art of flying and the history of flight, not just in Canada, but all around the globe.
Originally known as the National Aviation Museum, the Canada Aviation Museum was renamed in the year 2000 and is currently a component of the Canada Science and Technology Museum.
