Cedar Dunes Provincial Park is located in the western most corner of Prince Edward Island. The park has been developed around an historic lighthouse. Known as West Point, the site is the result of centuries of accretion of sand from a north to south coastal current. Visitors can tour the functioning lighthouse. The lighthouse houses a museum, seasonal dining room and Canada’s only inn in a lighthouse. Cedar Dunes Provincial Park provides beaches that stretch for miles, supervised swimming, children’s activities, and provides guided nature walks.
