The City of Toronto Archives stores important documents and records for the City of Toronto both past and present. The archives include city directories, photographs, maps, letters, city council minutes, government papers and historical documents. The archives are open for visitors to lookup archival records in the research hall or to explore the history of the City of Toronto.
 
The City of Toronto Archives are usually featured during Doors Open Toronto.
