Dawson City is well known around the world and was made famous for the Klondike Gold Rush. In August of 1896, three men found gold in Rabbit Creek, now named Bonanza Creek, and changed the history of the Yukon forever. The golden discovery triggered the world's greatest gold rush stampede as nearly 100,000 people rushed to Yukon for the chance to strike it rich. By 1898, Dawson City had become a modern city of nearly 40,000.

Dawson City offers visitors an endless supply of nature, adventure, and the kind of history they could only ever read about in books. It's a destination that must be experienced at least once in a lifetime.
