Nothing says Yukon like an old fashioned saloon and gambling hall. Dawson City’s world famous casino, the oldest in Canada, is housed in the old Arctic Brotherhood Hall that was built in 1901. Diamond Tooth Gertie's Casino is named after a dance hall queen named Gertie Lovejoy who during the gold rush of 1898 wedged a diamond between her two front teeth.

A unique experience, visitors to this casino can enjoy a stage show complete with cancan dancers and a singing master of ceremonies named Gertie. Diamond Tooth Gertie's Casino gives visitors a chance to go back in time to the olden days of Dawson’s gold rush era. There are three nightly shows by Gertie and her girls to be enjoyed while sipping back a beverage or two and playing blackjack, roulette, poker or the slot machines.
