Doors Open Toronto is an annual event hosted by the City of Toronto and several public & private organizations to offer visitors a rare glimpse into some of the most popular and historic locations throughout the city.

The year 2011 will mark the 12th anniversary of Doors Open Toronto and it will take place on May 28th & 29th, 2011. Most buildings will open at 10am and remain open until 4pm however visitors should check before heading out as the hours may vary from venue to venue.

This year, Doors Open Toronto will offer FREE admission to 150 buildings of architectural, historic, and cultural significance to the City of Toronto. This event is a day trippers dream come true! In the past, some of the buildings that participated included:

Is a fantastic opportunity for photographers to get some great photos of some of the most important architectural accomplishments in Toronto's history. I look forward to Doors Open Toronto each and every year.
