Fort Malden is a National Historic Site located in Amherstburg, Ontario which once served as an outpost of the British Empire. For over 200 years, fortifications at Fort Malden have helped forge a new nation out of the North American wilderness. Today this 4.5 hectare site includes remains of the 1840-period with four buildings, including a restored and furnished 1819 brick barracks.
