Gibson House was the home of David Gibson, a Scottish immigrant, and his family. Built in 1851, the home is only one of ten historic museums operated by Toronto Culture. David Gibson was a land surveyor who assisted with mapping and developing early Toronto. Today, visitors to the Gibson House are given the opportunity to step back in time and explore this Georgian-style farmhouse and it's place in the history of Toronto.
