Manitoba's Grand Beach was once voted one of the top ten beaches in the world by Playboy Magazine. Located about an hour from Winnipeg inside Grand Beach Provincial Park, Grand Beach offers visitors over 3km of some of the nicest white sandy beaches in the country.
Comprised of two main beaches; the West Beach and the East Beach, Grand Beach has a little for everyone. The West Beach is known as the "party spot" while the East Beach caters more to families looking to enjoy a quiet atmosphere.
Swimming and water sports are one of the star attractions at Grand Beach which is located on Lake Winnipeg. The lake is very shallow and loaded with sandbars which makes for very warm swimming water.
