Annual Snowmobile Poker Run
This popular fundraising event is now in its 21st year and has grown to be one of the largest and most successful events of its kind in Ontario. Participants will gather token cards along the trail, which can be traded for a Poker hand upon return to the entrance point at Haliburton Forest. The winning hand will ride away with a brand new 2010 model snowmobile. Many other prizes are awarded. Registration is from 8:00 to 2:00 on the day of the event and the checkpoints will close at 4:00pm. All proceeds are collected for the Haliburton Volunteer Fire Department.
