Halifax Public Gardens

The Halifax Public Gardens is a non-profit organization located in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia on the Halifax Peninsula.  The Halifax Public Gardens is a Victorian era public gardens formally established in 1867.  It was designated as a National Historic Site in 1984. The Halifax Public Gardens is dedicated to the preservation, enhancement and protection of the Public Gardens for the continued enjoyment of everyone. 

The Halifax Public Gardens is popular for wedding photos due to its Victorian formal landscaping style.  The gardens feature a bandstand that is used for free public concerts.  Visitors to the Gardens will also see fountains, and unique statues.
