Homer Watson House & Gallery
The Homer Watson House & Gallery showcases the heritage of the village of Lower Doon. The house was built in the 1830's and was part of an industrial complex. This complex was the beginning of village life at Schneider's Creek and the Grand River. The Homer Watson House was owned by Homer Watson who was an internationally known Canadian artist who was born in the village of Upper Doon in 1955.
Today the home of Homer Watson is open to the public to allow visitors the opportunity to experience the art and creativity of this man and the history that still resides within the walls of this 1800's home.
