Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat

The purpose of the Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat is to provide a critical habitat for many species of native butterflies while educating the general public about using native plants to create butterfly friendly environments. Located along the shores of Lake Ontario in the Humber Bay Park East, The Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat is a self-sustaining area with native plants and vegetation that attract butterflies and provide a habitat in an urban setting.

The Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat is the first of it's kind and offers visitors education about the types of plants they can use in their own gardens to increase the available habitat for butterflies.
