John Janzen Nature Centre
The John Janzen Nature Centre is located in the heart of the river valley area of Edmonton. The centre offers exhibits, and events to encourage awareness about nature in our urban cities. Visitors to The John Janzen Nature Centre will have plenty of things to see and do including self-guided nature walks, specialty programs and live wildlife exhibits.
The centre offers four kilometres of nature trails through the river valley including the Birch Tree Trail (1km) and The River Loop Trail (3km). Don't forget your hiking shoes! The John Janzen Nature Centre only offers limited accessibility and some trail sections may be difficult for those with limited mobility.
