Kelso Conservation Area
Considered a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, Kelso Conservation Area provides visitors with 16km of hiking and mountain bike trails, supervised swimming beach on a 35 hectare lake, kayaking, skiing and snowboarding and much more. The area consists of 397 hectare and was established in 1960 on the Niagara Escarpment in the Town of Milton.
During the winter months, the area is home to Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard Centre complete with ski lifts and lighting for night use. During the summer months, the same hills are transformed into mountain bike trails.
Pets are allowed in the area if they are on a leash. No pets are allowed in the beach area however there is a separate swimming area provided for dogs.
