Located about 4 kilometres north of Caledonia in Haldimand County, the Killman Zoo is a privately owned and operated zoo located on 9 acres of trails. On site, there is a gift shop and picnic facilities and it also offers wheelchair-accessible trails.
Since opening to the public in 1988, the zoo has grown in size and aquired many rare animals. Currently, Killman Zoo has one of the largest collections of Big Cats in Ontario. In addition to the animals, the zoo offers over 7 acres of winding trails and ponds for visitors to enjoy while viewing animals in a natural setting.

Re: Killman Zoo
Horrible zoo. Its hardly a zoo, zoo's take care of their animals. The cages were disgusting, the animals seemed to have little to no room to move. The place in general was messy as anything, driftwood, and scraps of unnecessary items were kept everywhere. The place was a huge eyesore. They also had these unnecessary anti-PETA signs up in a few places. I'm not a fan of PETA myself, but to blatantly try and justify how obviously little care you put into the zoo by putting up signs of an extreme opposite stance on animal rights was petty and disgusting.
Overall, EXTREMELY disappointing.
Re: Killman Zoo
I visited the killman zoo last week with my two kids they seemed to enjoy themselfs they didn't care what kind of cages the animals were in, just being able to go see animals that you don't see every day was something you should appreciate because with negitive imput on the zoo and personal opinions these animals won't have the chance of a full life inwhich they seemed pretty healthy and happy to me they have the possibility of being shut down and the animals will suffer because if nowhere to go then they get put down if no other zoo's want them' if people want to complain about cages then mabey they would like to donate money to rebuild so the next generation can see all the wounderful animals
