Laurier House was once home to two of Canada's most famous prime ministers, Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King. The building was home to these men and their families between 1897 and 1948 when the house was donated to the people of Canada by Mackenzie so that future generations could learn about the history of Canadaian politics during that era.
