Marine Museum of Manitoba

The Marine Museum of Manitoba was founded to collect and preserve Manitoba's maritime history of the Red River and Lake Winnipeg region from the 1850s until present day.
Located at the entrance to Selkirk Park, the Marine Museum of Manitoba offers visitors an up-close experience with many historic marine vessels including the S.S. Keenora (1897) and C.G.S. Bradbury (1915). A souvenir shop is located aboard the S.S. Keenora.
S.S. Keenora - 1897
Built in 1897, the S.S. Keenora is Manitoba's oldest steamship and was once used as both a freight and passenger ship on Lake Winnipeg, Lake of the Woods, and the Red River.
C.G.S. Bradbury - 1915
Once a fishing patrol vessel for the Federal Government of Canada, the C.G.S. Bradbury and served many years in the future for ferrying supplies to remote northern communities as well as icebreaking during the winter months.
