Mountsberg Conservation Area

The Mountsberg Conservation Area is a birdwatcher's paradise. Visitors are sure to enjoy the natural wonder of the area and it's diverse wildlife. Waterfowl, shorebirds, and warblers are a common site amongst the forest and meadow. The area offers hiking trails, boardwalks and interpretive lookouts from which to enjoy the beautify of the area and lake.

Established in 1964 in Flamborough, Puslinch, and Milton, the 472 hectare park offers visitors a multitude of options:

  • In the spring, enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride in the Mountsberg Sugar Bush for some fresh maple syrup, pancakes and taffy on the snow
  • Browse the exhibit gallery and gift shop
  • Come face to face with a great horned owl during a life bird presentation
  • During the Winter, skate on the pond
  • Hiking and cross-country skiing trails
  • Birding, fishing and wildlife viewing
  • Pets are allowed except on the wildlife walkway if they are kept on a leash.
