African Violet Festival
The Edmonton African Violet and Gesneriad Society pull out all the stops with this lovely two-day extravaganza. There is always a special theme. Come and see what they have created and learn more about African Violets and Gesneriads. There will be a variety of displays and contests including Dish Gardens, Terrarium Gardens, Container Gardens, show tables and sales. There will be lots of interesting varieties available from the giant to the miniature, rare and unusual, and great growing tips to aid the care, feeding and propagation of Gesneriads. Special guests may include the Cactus and Succulent Society and displays from the Bonsai Society (dependant on space and availability).
