Are you in the mood for a 900km hike?

The Waterfront Trail isn't technically a single hike. It's a trail that runs 900km along the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River from Niagara-on-the-Lake to the Quebec border. At your leasure, start and stop at any point along the way to take in the nature and culture of small towns, big cities, and rolling countrysides.

The Waterfront Trail offers a variety of attractions including 31 communities, 152 arts and culture heritage attractions, 170 marinas and yacht clubs, 182 parks and natural areas and much more. The surface of the road varies but consists mainly of 30% off road dedicated path and 70% on residential streets or on the shoulders of major roads. Most sections of the trail are well paved and make a perfect surface for biking or inline skating, but you should verify the section of trail using the trail map before heading out.

Maps of the entire trail are available for download from the web site listed below.
