The Parks Canada Discovery Centre is a unique building located on the shore of Lake Ontario directly inline with the Hamilton portion of the Waterfront Trail. The building is state of the art and provides visitors with a virtual glimpse into the national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas all over Canada. In addition to the virtual galleries, there is also a 65-seat theatre which features film screenings and lectures by guest speakers.
