The Parkwood Estate is located in Oshawa, Ontario and was the home of Samuel McLaughlin, the founder of General Motors of Canada. The home was occupied by the McLaughlins between 1917 and 1972 and today is official designated as a National Historic Site of Canada.

As once of Canada's last remaining grand estates, The Parkwood Estate features breathtaking architectural designs of the 1920s and 1930s and is fully furnished with period artwork and furnishings. Fully guided mansion tours are available year round while garden tours are available from May until the winter. During the tour, visitors will see 30 of the 55 rooms in the home and learn about the property, the building, the furnishings as well as life in the McLaughlin family.
