Peace Arch Provincial Park is a rare and unique provincial park in British Columbia. It's uniqueness is derived from the fact that it's location sits directly on the 49th parallel and marks an international boundary between The United States of America and Canada. The park, which lies about 40km south of Vancouver, spans 9 hectares (on the Canadian side). Activities include walking, hiking, picknicking and a playground for children as well as viewing the historic Peace Arch which was dedicated in 1921.
Important Note: As Peace Arch Provincial Park is located on the Canada/US Border you may be asked to provide identification and immigration information by officers of the Canada Border Services Agency and/or the US Customs and Border Protection.
