Playland Amusement Park

The oldest amusement park in Canada, Playland is located in Hastings Park, Vancouver. Playland is part of the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) and the regular season runs from April to September annually.

Rides and attractions at Playland include a world famous wooden roller coaster from 1958, two haunted houses - Demons of the Dark and House of the Dead, a 35ft tall rock climbing wall, a glass house, an 18 hole miniture golf course, basketball courts plus many other coasters and amusement park rides.

At the end of the operating season in August, Playland and Pacific National Exhbition (PNE) host an annual fair which includes monster trucks, animal races, talent shows, demolition derbies, and many more carnival type events.
