The Redpath Sugar Museum is contained within the Redpath Sugar Building that is located just east of downtown Toronto at the foot of Jarvis Street. The building, which opened in 1958, contains the sugar storage and refining plant for the Redpath Sugar Company. The sugar processed at the plant originates from the Caribbean and is transported to the facility by giant ships along the St. Lawrence.
Since 1979, the Redpath Sugar Museum has allowed visitors to discover more about Sugar and the refining process including the manufacture of many other sugar based products.
