The Rouge River watershed spans over 330 square kilometres through Toronto, York, and Pickering. The Rouge River is an important habitat for wildlife in the region and as such important steps have been taken to ensure it's future and sustainability.

Rouge Park will soon encompass over 50 square kilometres providing residents of Canada's largest City, Toronto, a unique wilderness setting. The park provides access to hiking trails, riverside camping, a sandy beach, and spectacular views of the area.
