The Royal Botanical Gardens
The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario is home to the world's largest lilac collection and a rare Carolinian forest. Spanning over 2,700 acres, The gardens not only supports beautiful floral life but also serves as a thriving wetland complete with deer, muskrat, coyotes and many other forest dwelling animals. The Royal Botanical Gardens offer visitors the opportunity to learn more about plants and nature as well as experience beautiful floral displays.
During the fall, the gardens host the Autumn Herb Festival where gourmet foods and wines are combined with family games and activities. The Royal Botanical Gardens are also home to the Ontario Garden Show and the Health and Wellness Show.

RBG Centre: year-round, daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, with the exception of December 25 and January 1 when the Centre is closed.
All outdoor gardens: seasonal, daily, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Mediterranean Garden: year-round, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at RBG Centre.
Shop @ THE GARDENS: Open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at RBG Centre.
Nature Interpretive Centre: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at the Arboretum.
The Gardens’ Café: daily, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at RBG Centre.
Turner Pavilion (Rose Garden tea house): Located across from RBG Centre in Hendrie Park. Open seasonally from May long weekend through Thanksgiving. The tea house offers light lunches and pastries. Open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and holidays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Rock Garden tea house: Located in Rock Garden. Open seasonally April 23 through Thanksgiving, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and holidays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
