World famous and recognized as one of the greatest parks in the world, Vancouver's Stanley Park is one of the city's main tourist attractions. Inside the park reside several landmarks including Prospect Point, the Lost Lagoon, a collection of mighty totem poles, the Nine O'Clock Gun, and the 8.8 km (5.5 mi) seawall which surrounds the park.

Stanley Park is located close to the downtown core and spans 400 hectares (1,000 acres). The park consists of aproximately 500,000 trees and is most famous for it's 8.8km (5.5mi) seawall. Annually the park receives over 8 million visitors.

Stanley Park hosts many arts events and during the summer, you can "dance at dusk" at Ceperley Meadow. The park has several restaurants which offer fine dining mixed with park ambience and sea and mountain views.
