Vancouver Art Gallery

The Vancouver Art Gallery was founded in 1931 and is the fifth-largest art gallery in Canada and the largest in Western Canada.  The Gallery is located at 750 Hornby Street in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

The Vancouver Art Gallery has 41,400 square feet of exhibition space and it’s collection of over 9000 works of art represents the most comprehensive resource for visual culture in British Columbia.  The collection includes more than 200 major works by Emily Carr, the Group of Seven, and illustrations by Marc Chagall.

The Vancouver Art Gallery hosts touring exhibitions, as well as a number of public programmes and lectures.
