Vancouver Maritime Museum

The Vancouver Maritime Museum is Canada’s principal maritime museum on the Pacific, located in the heart of Canada’s greatest ports at the gateway to the Pacific Rim. The Vancouver Maritime Museum allows visitors to discover the rich maritime history and traditions of the Pacific Coast.
Visitors to the Vancouver Maritime Museum can step back in time to 1944 on board Canada’s famous RCMP St Roch, an historic arctic exploration vessel used by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The Museum consists of extensive galleries of model ships, a collection of maritime art, a large library, and archives. Visitors can watch craftsmen build models.
Children can visit the Children’s Maritime Discovery Centre.
