The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies was founded Catharine and Peter Whyte. The museum offers exhibits that explore the Canadian Rockies through natural history, human history and artwork. The Art Collection reflects the nature and development of the visual arts in the Rockies and contains approximately 4,000 items.
In addition to the extensive art and history collection, the Whyte Museum offers several Banff tours including history walks and historic home visits. Check the web site for further details.
