Fort Calgary National Historic Site was established in 1875 by the North West Mounted Police. Located at the confluence of the Elbow and Bow rivers, the site is considered the birthplace of the city of Calgary.
Fort Calgary’s interpretive center allows you to explore the rich heritage of Calgary and the RCMP. The site features a large outdoor park area and offers unique views of downtown Calgary.
